After a long period of three months, Narendra Modi government approved hike in DA ( Dearness Allowance ) of central government employees and pensioners.
Currently, only 38% DA was given to central employees and pensioners. This hike was due from January 2023. Finally, 4% of DA hike was done according to rise in WPI index. Now, Central government employees and pensioners will get 42% of Dearness allowance.
You can calculate hike in salary by multiplying 0.04 in your current basic pay.
This DA increment was due form Jan 2023. So all the working central government employees and pensioners will get arrear amount from the Jan 2023.
